First of all I want to clarify that they are children and their minds are not contaminated as the adult's minds. Shmuel and Bruno come from a different “worlds”. But they don’t understand why are so different, neither they know why are they there.
ReplyDeleteFor them, especially for Bruno the other child is a chance to escape for a moment from his “terrible” life in his awful new and lonely house and for Shmuel from his hell in the concentration camp where soldiers hit him and he does not being fed.
As I have said friendship plays a important role in both life’s, they find in the other someone to share their emotions, concerns, and finally their time. They find a friend
For me this is an unforgetable book. The writer take the place of a child of 9 year old, your ideas and the way of see the life of this child, Bruno.
ReplyDeleteBruno is alone in a strange place and in your mind as explorer search new adventures. He knows Shmuel and litle by litle your friendship is rather stronger.
In a strong place as "Out With", they forget your problems and they tell each other differents stories and experiences of your lifes.
With problems as the incident in Bruno's house with german soldier, their friendship is improving to the end. In this moment Bruno help to Shmuel to look his father but they made a big mistake.
